I just found out that Tala still hasn't received all of her money that was donated before Christmas. Instead of sending Tala her money, which she desperately needs to pay bills, Brad has been partying in Vegas and hosting some party in Vancouver? I'm all for having a good time, but Brad, you've got some serious responsibilities hanging over your head here that you need to get taken care of.
Also, there were several people who made a pledge to send her checks because they did not use PayPal and so far she has only received two. She was apparently promised decent sized checks from several sponsors and NONE of them have arrived yet.
Tala has bills to pay and she still owes some money to the hospital (of which almost $900 won't even be paid once all the money DOES come in) so those of you who pledged to help her, please remember and honor your promise.
Oh, and someone marked a laptop off Tala's wish list and she never got it. If it was you and you actually did order it, please let her know because she needs to track it down. If this was someone's idea of a cruel and fucked up joke, then
Tala has been incredibly patient and understanding about this whole thing and it's making her miserable. She is incredibly grateful for everything that has been done for her so far. She didn't want to make a fuss about it, so I'm posting this for her. She NEEDS the money that righfully belongs to her.
