    An online dating tale, featuring my roommate [pix]

    I need to share this with the GFY community because... well.. just because. You'll see.

    So my roomie ain't the most social guy, talking to hot chicks is an impossible task cuz he just doesn't know how to. So he's adopted a habit to seek out local gals thru online communities, like thedilly.com or bolt.com. Then he chats them up over messenger programs and if they "connect", then he mostly ends up fucking them.

    He's also established a preference for chubby chicks. Not fat chicks per se, but ones that "are easier to get". He's quite athletic, but simply doesn't have people skills...

    So he gets in tough with this one girl called: PinkPanther16387.

                                                                  One day he was meeting with a chick later, and he shows us her pic, same thing, pretty much head only... And we were like "dude, she's a chunker, look at her shoulders (she was wearing a tank top in the pic), and he didn't believe us...

                                                                  So he goes for the date, comes back, and we're all waiting (house of 5) by the door... He comes in and stammers "she was a little... bigger... than I expected" and holds his hands apart to show... hilarious.

                                                                  Maybe you had to be there, he went into this with no clue.

                                                                          That sounds very much like what happened to me....only she was in the States while I was in Holland, and when she flew over here it was the first time I saw how much weight she'd gained...at least twice as much as the girl in that pic. In fact, I didn't recognise her at the airport, because all the pics she'd sent me were more than 5 years old.

                                                                          So what the fuck do you do? I couldn't very well say "fuck off back to the States", she recognised me straight away, I'd sent her recent pics. She ended up living in my house for a year of hell. Didn't do much, just sat there on my couch like a chain-smoking bhudda 24/7, refusing to do shopping because she didn't speak dutch and people wouldn't understand her (which is bullshit, everyone in holland speaks english), refusing to cook because she claimed she couldn't, refusing to clean the house because my vacuum-cleaner was too old, my broom didn't work well enough, the water was too hot/cold/wet or whatever, etc.

                                                                          Heh, it all sounds quite funny in retrospect, but it was fucking awful at the time
