email is less formal than a traditonal business letter.
people tend to type what they think, rather than worry about protocol. :thumbsup |

Why?? its the truth |
I have to say that for informal chatting on boards or at shows then say what ever you want.
To say fuck in a professional setting is tacky and will eventually lose you money. |
If he didn't say: fuck you or fuck him, then I think it's ok....
If he just wrote wtf, like you said, why the fuck would you be offended?? |

so when I write fuck you at the bottom of my checks when I pay my bills thats unprofessional?

I don't think this is a dumb thread. I think it's just proving the fact that web has created a lower expectation of communication.
Board ettiqutte and B2B/customer service ettiquette are two differernt things. Adults who run porn business should lack business and communication skills? Seems to me that the bar is set so low for corespondence that everyone accepts this sort of thing. When you are dealing with your partners or customers, you should put your best face forward even if they don't. If more people treated this business like a business at least in the customer area, we might not be perceived as such trash and neanderthals. :2 cents: |
