so when I write fuck you at the bottom of my checks when I pay my bills thats unprofessional?

I don't think this is a dumb thread. I think it's just proving the fact that web has created a lower expectation of communication.

Board ettiqutte and B2B/customer service ettiquette are two differernt things.

Adults who run porn business should lack business and communication skills?

Seems to me that the bar is set so low for corespondence that everyone accepts this sort of thing. When you are dealing with your partners or customers, you should put your best face forward even if they don't.

If more people treated this business like a business at least in the customer area, we might not be perceived as such trash and neanderthals.

I save that for GFY.

I completely agree. If someone is upset enough to swear at me, then I'll take that into consideration and try to deal with it right away. However, if it was a normal business email and someone was just 'fuck this' and 'fuck that', then I would consider that rather unprofessional.
