I however would like to see some AVS companies tighten up and have higher standards and stricter reviewing. I don't like the enourmous amount of shit that they list and what the reviewers let pass through but for many purposes AVS works pretty well.

I thought so, I've paid attention to what you say and like I said I'm usually in agreement so I wondered for a minute. I personally take a different tactic from Baddog and don't go on the attack because I know you're always sensible.

And I still like AVS, for a few years now I've complained of the reviewing standards and what not of many of the AVS systems. I wanted to see an all premium avs with strict review standards that only allow in high quality sites and charge a decent fee. I was hoping that someone like Cyberage would put this together at some point because I think it could do well. Instead we've got lax reviewing and people who mass submit 50 shit sites a day to leech all the quality linklist traffic and that's what screws it up. So ultimately it falls on the AVS system for allowing such shit.

For the record, while we do have easy standards to get listed, you can ask any of the people whose sites get rejected (and sites are rejected a few times a day) we do have standards, and we do check to make sure they are followed.
