Besides Lord of the Rings, I think that was the best movie of the year. I like movies that you go into having some expectation for and they come through. This movie did that and then some. Johnny Depp was great and stars were made out of Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley.

normally i dont like comedy thrown into history ... at the beginning i was hoping it would be authentic history, robbing pillaging, ... normally dont like the dudes turning into cursed ghosts, etc ... but gotta admit this was done very well ... sort of reminds me of umm, fuck the movie with heath ledger where he was a knight, it annoyed me that theyre singing "we will rock you" in medieval times setting ... but overall at the end it was done well ....

but pirates way better. ill definitely watch it again.

Great film - Mckenzie Crook steals the show. He is from a comedy called The Office over here... if you get chance to see it - it's great!

How many of you watched the whole movie? If you didn't stay and watch all the way through the credits, you didn't see the movie. At the end of the credits there is an additional part that completely changes your thoughts of how the movie ends!!!

NO KIDDING! Watch it again.

Johnny Depp is the best actor there is today by far. he plays so many rolls and fits into all them so well,

the boats were so well done in this movie made it have that old british feel.

Great movie and a super job on the CGI especially keeping track of the in the moonlight, not in the moonlight scenes. I guess I must watch it again and find out about this whole different view at the end.
