I did see KRL's note about pure honey, i'll have to try that one.

Pure natural honey has excellent health benefits.

History and Health Benefits of Honey

Honey is mankind's oldest sweetener. Honey is manufactured in nature's most efficient factory - the beehive. Bees make honey from the nectar of flowers and they will travel as far as 40,000 miles and visit over 2 million flowers to produce one pound of honey.

Honey has been found in the tombs of ancient Egyptian Pharos and man harvesting honey is painted on the wall of caves by pre-historic man.

Honeybees have been in Europe and Asia for hundreds of thousands of years. It was not until the late 1600's that the bee was brought to this country by Europeans. Native Americans called the honey bee "White man's flies."

Approximately one half of the human diet is derived directly or indirectly from crops pollinated by bees. Today honeybees are an essential part of a healthy agriculture economy.

Have hayfever or allergies problems? Many individuals eat honey to build tolerances to pollen. Try our Wildflower honey, each jar can represents over 100 different varieties of flowers and pollen sources.

there is something to the fact that humans have been conditioned to digesting honey for 10s of thousands of years.......

supposedly the healthiest green tea to drink is called Matcha. It's the only tea in which the whole leaf is consumed and delivers more of the healthful elements of green tea than other forms.

of course that makes it one of the most expensive and it's often on backorder because so many people want it.

You have to whish it and it ends up being very thick and frothy, like a green cappuccino.

Great thread.

I've started drinking "white tea". No caffeine to speak of and 3 three times as many anti-oxidants (the healthy stuff) as normal tea.

(To sleep, perchance to dream. Was a problem for me with normal tea).
