Gig a day is usually available for $10-$20/month. PR6 or 7 links would be worth a lot more than that I think.

I dunno. I mainly do SE promotion and bandwidth is worth very little to me cause I don't have freeloaders downloading shit all day. It's HTML and some images at the very most.
