How many seconds do you like to target for page download on your paysite front pages at 56k?

there was some sort of study done on this.....

I cant remember what the optimum was but 14 secs was the max....

14 seconds is going to be pretty tough to pull off.
How much can you do and still have the page look good and download in 14 seconds at 56k? Man thats a challenge.

If they are still using 56k they cant afford to use a credit card

If the page doesnt load after 3 seconds i ditch it.
