At the age of 16 was in the top 1% in the UK - probably 0.5% in fact.... don't know what went wrong after that!

Well, the only way to accurately measure intelligence is to define it as that which is measured by IQ-tests.

Other than that it is pretty tricky to measure - and frankly I have no idea if it is even possible to measure it better than EQ.
