Nothing illegal unless the content is illegal under the Canadian Criminal Code.

On the customs declaration label them as "proofs" so as to not attract GST and possibly duty.

You may get a question from customs if you are shipping 100 CDs

Better to consider DVDs and cut the units down.

No...if your businesses are legal, licensed, etc and if the content CD's consist of legal content complete with all the right releases and copies of ID and all that jazz, there is no reason why it should be illegal. Plus, if it's from company to company for inventory reasons, the CD's are merely your company inventory, no?

Wow 50 gigs, let him copy it on a hd man.
And why would it be illegal, just like the other people said, as long as its legal content theres nothing to worry about.

Was thinking a few DVDs would be fine .
                          ten disks or so .
In the condition alot of my mail shows up .
I doubt a harddisk would work by the time the bashed it all the way from the US to CAN .

TECHNICALLY it's illegal to ship pornographic material over the border. But I have NEVER once had a problem when I mark it as "press material".

Let me give you MY 2 cents on this. What you need to do is ZIP the content with a password, then rename the file to some wierd extention like .dbx

You can't open this shit anyway - even if the FedEx guy is smart enough to open a 700MB (or in your case 50GB) file with Notepad (haha) and see the ZIP header, he still can't open it because of the pass.

The contents? DBX man - a database of some weird data
