Apologies for missing this one... We always respond to allegations and will certainly respond to this one. We were at the show and somehow missed this.

For the record, FlyntDigital has been around for a long time and has NEVER cheated anyone, and never will... Our content and brand name are unsurpassed in the industry and there's no need to risk our reputation over $400... We either made a mistake or caught a cheater, shouldn't take long to review this one...

I'll be back....

When I was approached to start up digibucks, I knew I wanted to do it. Being on the other end of the affiliate game for so long, I saw things being done I didn't like and thought I could do better.

For a long time I've been helping new webmasters learn the business, it's something that gives me pleasure, and a big part of the reason I love this business.

Do I want to make money? I sure do! But if making a lot of money means loosing the part I love best, then in my opinion it's not worth it.

A lot of you know me, some of you don't.. but those that do know that if I am associated with something, it's on the level, I wouldn't have it any other way.

so.. put me on the list ;)

Broda 01-15-2004 01:22 PM

I do see quite a few programs in that list I wouldn't touch with a fire poke. Each to his own, I guess :)

I've read that you guys CCBill shave. Anyways, any sponsor that announces their own company is just disgraceful. :1orglaugh

I'm quite certain I'm forgetting an assload of programs, so please post any programs you know of and consider "trusted" here (not your own, obviously, since that wouldn't really mean anything).
Also, if you've ever gotten screwed by one of these programs, please let me know.

I agree :thumbsup

But add extremepaychecks.com to that list.
Nice guys!

For those who say some or many of these programs are not to be trusted, please state which ones and why. Otherwise, go fuck yourself :glugglug

As for the thread not being useful, ofcourse it doesn't give an in-depth analysis of a sponsor. I'm just looking for the ones with a fairly good reputation that they've been able to maintain for at least a reasonable amount of time.

Herb Kornfield 01-15-2004 03:03 PM

looking for new sponsors since our current ones are on the shave from what the stats look like :(

Now, I think this means something.

But everyone here is just naming their own program.... That's not much of an indication....

I would probably say ARS also.

Ken 01-15-2004 04:51 PM

Regarding Trent Edison,

Here are the facts straight from our fraud control dept.

1. He signed up with FlyntDigital for the first time to take advantage of the $100 promo. Nothing wrong with that, but those big promos do tend to attract cheaters.

2. He used a Check Cashing Business as the "payee name" when he signed up. This was the first red flag.

3. He gave us a bogus Tax ID. When we asked him for a correct one, he decided he wanted a wire instead and he asked that we change his Payee name to a Russian name. Surprise, surprise....

4. He had 4 sign-ups. All 4 canceled. Again, big surprise here....

Anyone still think that FlyntDigital screwed Trent? Give me a fucking break.

Some people might not like FlyntDigital because of Acacia, or because they don't like Larry or whatever. To each his own.

However, we run an honest program and we've never screwed anyone. Period.

RRRED 01-15-2004 05:00 PM

Ok, I guess Flynt Digital goes back on the list and Trent Edison makes it to the "people not to do business with" list :1orglaugh
