Still beats the BMS in what exactly?
Speed? no Ride? depends on the model Reliability? HAHAHAHEHEHEHEHEHAHAHA ahem. Price? BMW is WELL worth its price tag, jaguar... no. Jaguars lose so much value so quickly its not even funny. YES, they a sweet ride, but their electronics fuckup, engine fucksup... so easily.. Beemers are reliable and cost effective :thumbsup |
Most BMV:s around here has manual gearboxes. Thanks to Jaguars torque converter it's engine revs up instantly to the revs where most hp is generated and stays there during the gears.
That's why I can beat them at redlights! Reability. Reability is in my opinion very good indeed. Dont'n compare with the old Jaguars before Fords takeover. I have been reparing cars for many years, speciality old Triumphs and Saabs. We have BMW:s in the family as well, so I have some brands to compare with. Jaguars are inexpensive secondhand. Thats good. You can afford to buy a luxery car! Below my Jaguar now at 140000 miles with no problems! Regular services of course. http://escortsonline.org/gfy/jaggan3.jpg |

maybe you should compare Toyota LC100 with H2 also?
S4 & this Lexus are DIFFERENT! damn n00bs p.s. jaguar is one of most LESS reliable european cars |
Let me put it this way, my lexus with 160,000 miles on it, 4.0 litre V8 without mods rev's up to 6,500RPMS as easily as my old 2 litre 4 banger prelude, and still rocks the southbound 5 at 160 MPH without any engine mods and just maitinance... fuck all else, it may just be a toyota with leather and a new engine but shit on me, i'd only replace it with a 765iL ;)

J D Power report names Jaguar cars as most reliable!
The J.D. Power and Associates annual private report to automakers, "Initial Quality Study", is a widely followed measure of vehicle quality. Recently the company released limited data from the report but not the full report. The report found that the new Jaguar cars had the fewest defects and the 1999 Kia cars the most. The Agoura-based company said it based the results on 41,004 owners of 1999-model vehicles. They were asked about problems found in the first 90 days of ownership. The study showed Jaguar has the fewest defects per 100 new vehicles - 110. Buick was second at 114, followed by Infiniti(ll8),Acura(124), BMW(125), Lexus(l31), Toyota(135), Honda (137), Cadillac (139) andChrysler (148). The average for all vehicles was 167 defects per 100 vehicles. The bottom of the list showed Kia having the most defects at 333 per 100 vehicles. Suzuki had 299, Isuzu 242, Jeep 234, Volkswagen 223, Daewoo 216, Land Rover 200, Mit-subishi 199, GMC 199 and Hyundai 194. |
