Acacia Technologies Issued European Patent Covering 14 Countries for DMT Technology
Acacia Research Corporation announced today that its Acacia Technologies group has been issued an additional European patent covering 14 countries for its Digital Media Transmission ("DMT") Technology. The new patent provides additional coverage in Great Britain, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, Sweden, Denmark, Belgium, Netherlands, Monaco, Luxembourg and Greece. Acacia's DMT technology relates to audio and video transmission and receiving systems, commonly known as audio-on-demand, video-on-demand, and audio/video streaming, and is used for distributing digital content via several means including Internet, cable, satellite and wireless systems.
