That's the *best* time to spot tells, actually. When someone is down, you can see their disappointed/nervous tells. Same when they're up, you get the confident/happy tells. Guards are down between hands with inexperienced players (and I say *nothing* about the experience of the folks in the picture... I have no clue).

Not saying I'm an expert by any means; I just have more fun spotting tells than playing cards, so that's what I often do in Vegas.
