Acacia and its liscensees are now appearently drawing lines in the sand and without really saying it up front are urging affiliates to push sponsor's that have liscensed to by pass the threat of "Infringement".

Damages are going to be huge and the loss for non liscensee's will take a toll induced by webmasters that choose a side.

IF the claim is invalidated I do hope those business's that were effected by what is happening file claim for something along the lines unfair business practice.

This is an out right abuse of the system to the extreme in my opinion.

Think maybe a fresh thread about this thought is in order.

How do you feel about having to make that decision?
I know what you all will do.
Your gonna side with the Sponsors that sign. Your afraid that you will be singled out and your own business will suffer in the meanwhile as even your link partners will no longer link you because they will go Acacia compliant with thier sponsors.

Sorry about the edits there.

Its just a perpetual situation and it kinda sucks seeing folks fall.

Right now those that have signed have the upper hand over those that have not. They can trade everyones traffic without a threat.

So mind you, know that fact whether or not you are compliant those that have signed must send traffic to others that have signed as well they can not send to you if your not signed.

Think about it, the real fucking is only beginning as you build up those that have betrayed us as comrades in the field.

In the end its 2-4% of your business should you liscense.
No big deal right? This will play out down the road as the noose tightens and liscenses are renegotiated down the line.
But its a scenerio.
