You can take the advice of Battuss and down load and install a bunch of bullshit to get rid of the farting banner or you can just do this:

go to:
internet properties/security/custom level/Run ActiveX controls and plugins
and click disable.

Battuss is an intelligent webmaster who probably works less than 1/4 the time you do and makes 10x more cash. He offered a solution to the banner that has annoyed GFY for awhile, maybe its not the "best option" in your opinion but I found opera to be an interesting program once I downloaded it.
