Play around with it a bit and make it look clean...look at my screenpost. Get rid of the huge buttons and shit. After that you will love it.

yes Battuss.... it's shareware, and it sucks. The banner ads on the sites are enough without having them on the fucking browser too. And no, it is NOT faster. It's fucking slow as shit. I can open 10 IE windows in the time it takes Opera to fucking load. I don't like it's layout.... the fucking whack ass panel on the side sucks.... the fucking search boxes up there are gay.... the tabs are fucking irritating....

I have enjoyed reading this thread... I laugh my ass off at the stupid bullshit people fight over. I hate to contribute to this thread, but I must because jimboc forgot something very important about Avant.

It is an interface built around Internet Explorer, and I personally like it as well. It doesn't fill up my taskbar and I don't have to click taskbar buttons to open them up like a nav menu (I hate WinXP grouping shit). I also don't have to deal with a shitty browser (like Opera because it is a worthless pile of shit that may have been better like 4 years ago) because Avant uses everyone's favorite browser, IE!

It's a very important selling point in a thread like this because everyone is arguing that they don't want to give up IE... well, you don't have to with Avant. I recommend it. It's good. :thumbsup

You can also set each browser window up to do auto refreshes based on time intervals which has come in handy for me on several occasions, and you can create groups of windows that you use together. It's almost like putting IE favorites into folders, except clicking the folder itself will open all the favorites within. Good shit.
