Sorry, Yonki's is good too, the characters edges looks a little dirt, specially in A characters, but still nice and clean :)

Anyway, plenty of symbolisms, the euro sign as an arch with arrows facing right and up, the star in yellow for the euro flag and because the star can be seen as an h and in that position also as an e, the words hard and euro bold and aligned to be read together at first sight, the blue color in the euro sign again for the flag... well, tried to put everything together as a "designer" :winkwink: (sorry Alan, had to say it) :tongue:

and a second logo just in case! :winkwink:

I think this one should take it...cleanest lines, nice design - aesthetically pleasing. Only thing it's missing is the Euro symbol, but I don't guess that's a necessity.

What's with all the designs using the $ symbol? The whole world doesn't use $ ya know.

just out of curiosity, was browsing other logos and just noticed that lagwagon posted his friend's entry, which is somewhat similar to my 2nd entry (those stars around the end of the lettering)... well, i guess we all are focused on the same "european" elements, aren't we? :)

thanks, glad you like it. since you didn't say which one you like better, here are both of them, bigger. of course, we can make them even bigger, by simply resizing them. any size, sky is the limit in vector drawings (in comparsion to bitmaps, which 70% of the logos here are - you can't scale them up to a billboard size or even bigger, you get the pixelation stuff)... anyways, here it is, hope it's decent size, if you want it bigger, just say ;)

I have started thinking about the direction and came to a similar solution than some others here - why not use the European stars and the color scheme yellow and blue?

Then I thought, wheter this approach makes sense, or not. Imagine, that there are more competitors in your market, targeting european webmasters/surfers. If even just one of them makes use of this approach, which is more than possible, than you are too close, to do a unique logo based branding.

So I decided, that it is a better solution, to leave out this europen touch (especially the stars would be hard top produce on banners and smaller buttons anyway) and to get a modern
logo, that will work for your kind of business.

It is always good, to be able to use only a symbol, especially with a long name, so i made this small variation:

Of course it has a very slight similiarty to mastercard/eurocard. You could participate a little in their branding efforts of european based commerce, whitout beeing obviously close to them. It is more a small, subliminal hint to the customer, so he can easily imagine what kind of business you are in.
