Offer a 10-12 days trial. 10 days should be enough for those trials to see the constant updates. So you can then get those members that would otherwise signup for no-trials + the skeptical ones may then rebill too + extra money from a high priced longer period trial.

33% is the industry average from trial to month. If you are over that you are doing good, if you are under you're doing not so good. So maybe just try a more expensive trial/longer period.

Ofcourse! Trials to month is the hardest, once you got month, to next month is easier. As the matter of fact month to month should be a bit better for signup that came from trial.

Good new idea :thumbsup except do that 18.95 for 2 weeks trial maybe otherwise, members may cancel thinking to rejoin to save money then just forget to rejoin :(

The only reason you aint so hot on BOB right now is because 900 Gazillion webmasters are promoting it. With BOB there is actually a competition for the sign up. The surfer can signup anywhere so the trick is keeping then on your site to sign up and this is hard when you are trading traffic.

If you were the only webmaster promoting BOB you wouldn't even try to talk about trials...you'd be too busy counting your money!!!

Believe it or not I'm usually still pretty busy counting my money :winkwink: A minute part of it still comes from BOB too :) This is the longest I ever hung out on gfy making me look not busy huh? But look at the small # of my posts.. No it's not cos there are million webmasters promoting BOB, as the matter of fact, I see much fewer promoting it now then when I was hitting it hard. What killed BOB's sales for me are sites like the one in my sig, monstersofcocks.com, blackbroswhitehoes.com, 24 inches of pain etc. just to name a few.. not to mention the fact that BOB couldn't use that disputed content they were using before. Good Interracial sites are not so rare anymore so it's simply harder to sell BOB's 1 month but sure still can be done. Also, # of initial to rebill wasn't extraordinary with BOB but # of months for each members that went for rebills was amazing but so it is prolly for most niched original sites. I would like to see a trial added to BOB only if it had much more content than it did in the past and a real archive for movies, otherwise, BOB's better off with 1 month cos for a good # trials to rebill may require more.

i tried trials several years ago, had almost no impact on su's. i'd be fucking crazy to use them. i know of other sites (large ones) that have seen the same thing.

it all depends on the type of site, the way it's marketed, pricing, etc.

there is plenty of room for non-trial sites. beyond obvious. but here's to pointless arguing...

Quiet, I gotta say your site converts like a mofo! I've only been promoting it for a couple of months but from what I noticed I'm getting a 1:190 conversion rate and a near 95% rebill rate on TGP traffic! :thumbsup
