Anyone know of a good news posting php script similar to cutenews or fusionnews but saves the news articles in mySQL instead of flat files?

Needs to have category capability.

I use none, so I have no recommendation.
Thus I gave a starting point instead of an answer ; )

Always better do some shopping around (even if it's free) and pick one that suits your needs, not someone elses... as you (I usually do) may settle on one only later to find yourself underpowered, or even worse with an overcomplicated piece of bloatware.

Actually I like recommendations.

Saves tons of time.

Not many of us have time to download, install and test hundreds of scripts. Recommendations helps narrow down the work.
