they already do that kindove for all .exe programs... the person that compiles it will have their hd number serial number and whatever else they wanted in there.. how do you think they catch the people that create virus's? the one's they don't catch weren't compiled on their computers..

Super high end scanners or coppiers (cant remember) have a similar feature. If you try and scan any currency it will lock up the machine and you will have to call the manufacturer for the unlock code.

Use a good hardware or software firewall setup, it should block all outgoing traffic.

Well looks like all the designers on here will have to use Fireworks now as all there secrets are open source!

Not to mention its probably wasting processing power (and valueable seconds of your time) every time you open an image trying to identify if it matches XYZ....

Right now it could just be US currency that its looking for (but who really knows, it's closed source)
