I'm outta here for the night. I promised my girlfriend I'd stop working by 7pm. That gives me 9 minutes. Just enough time to pee and lock up.

Quoted for those too lazy to read to the bottom of page 1 and wonder why I disappeared out of the thread. LOL.

if I remember right, it was Epoch who came out with cross sales, member plus, cancel plus, one clicks.. ccbill has recently integrated xsales but I don't think they have the other features incorporated yet and they don't have anything unique that Epoch doesn't have that I can recall. Also, Epoch stats imho are far superior and I KNOW the scrub rate isn't nearly as bad, you make FAR more $$ with Epoch.

Nothing against CCBill or LS, they're good guys, but I think you're way off base in your complaints here.

We (and others in direct mode) were doing cancellation upsells and cross-sells 2 years ago with Netbilling and their stats smoke Verotel's, CCbill's, Ibill's, Epoch's and all others I have seen and used. You can also set your own scrub levels with Netbilling. They are the most flexible IMO.
Lightspeed, Sexentertain, & Cybersocket should have won as well.

I'm surprised anyone even saw the Xbiz awards?
Not even insomniacs could stay awake through that crap.

baddog 01-10-2004 12:09 AM

I was a little surprised about the choice for most innovative, I thought Board Tracker had that covered.

However, the show was a lot better this year than last, That C2K place sucked, Hard Rock was pretty cool, I will return there to gamble sometime

Did you look around and see amount of people there? It sucked?

And I KNOW that they had to postpone the awards because ARS people were at another dinner party.

Hehe. It sucked. Everyone left to go elsewhere.

Sorry our dinner ran long;-)

Awards are a no win situation. Althought I agree that ARS and EPOCH are clear winners. Can not imagine how National Net lost out to anyone. Nothing against web air, never used them.

Isprime is clearly top of the heap. If only people knew how many webhosts resell Isprime:1orglaugh

Webair over National Net?

Gimme a break!

Does anyone have the full list of all nominees? If so, please post.

I'd say Lightspeed over ARS

Epoch & CCBill are very close.

And I wouldn't choose National Net if my life depended on it!

KingK has herpes now (no shit - ask him!). So I know you have the hot tranny contacts! Is that what goes on at your parties?

Webair is great and National Net is as well. Have you ever used Netbilling Bradshaw?

p1mpdogg 01-10-2004 12:32 AM

did we win anything?

4Pics 01-10-2004 12:34 AM

I think anyone who won deserved to win.

Ars came out with BYOT (which has made lots of people rich), different types of promotion (Dating, Pills, Cams), tons of new sites monthly to promote, they are never late with a payout. Not many sponsors pay me 12hrs after the pay period ends.

They also have said they will fight to the death over the Acacia matter and will not settle (I believe LS shares the same opinion)

All the Xmas gifts I ordered using Reward points came ontime.

Please tell me another sponsor who offers what they do and has done as much this past year?

jawanda 01-10-2004 12:37 AM

Interesting opinions, but seems ridiculous to argue about.

All of the categories had equal competitors. Look at GFY for two seconds and you will see that there are people who love CCbill, Epoch, Verotel, Lightspeed, ARS, etc etc... and as many people who hate 'em.

Seems redundant to keep arguing which is 'best'. XBiz is a contest, the results of a contest will never make EVERYONE happy, or else what would be the point? Someone's got to win.

Maybe not. But the show is still boring.

Lickshots 01-10-2004 12:42 AM

Well at least no one is denying that Wyldesites shouldn't have won for best designer...

or does that need discussion too?
