computer hanging when i right click on a file or folder.
This is really wierd. When I right click on a file or folder, the hourglass comes on and hangs for like 30 seconds then the menu pops up. if i try and close the windows while waiting, it goes to "end task". I have restarted a few times and it keeps doing this. Anyone have a clue why? Thanks.

you have any network connections to other computers?
Like shared folders on your laptop that is currently not connected? |

i have another PC about 10 feet away on the same wireless network that im sharing a folder with, yes.

Possibly a fucked shell extention entry in teh registry.
you could try cleaning your registry with the regvac trial verson http://www.soft32.com/download_9085.html Then you could try a system restor to a time before the problem started (as a last resort) IF it is a shared folders problem check your computer for any Mapped network drives and disconnect them.
