Discuss what's fucking going on, and which programs are best and worst. One-time "program" announcements from "established" webmasters are allowed.

Payments for rebills: end after (_?_) rebill

If you're a sponsor and you are putting secret limits on paying your affiliates their rebills, you are scum.

I'm not pointing at anyone directly, just stating the way it is straight-out. If you ARE one such sponsor and don't like what I just said, tough shit. If I find any of my own sponsors doing this, whether I've sent you 2 signups or 200 signups, I will can your ass from MY network.

Also, I saw it mentioned in another thread about a few cash programs that say up front "We will pay you 50% of each signup, and 50% of the first rebill"....... why would anyone in their right fucking mind promote such a program?? I STILL get rebill cheques from bangbus signups I sent then nearly 2 years ago, why would I promote an idiot that is only going to pay me for MY referrals once??

Webmasters, stick with promoting programs that pay you ALL of your rebills, or promote pay per signups. This whole "shaving" fiasco has gotten way out of hand..... and you sponsors, you've seen what happens when one of you gets found out. You get trashed. Is it worth it? Try running an honest program with no bullshit and you'll have loyal affiliates forever.

Call me naive if you must, but I'm wondering why the option to limit rebill payouts is even OFFERED by a processor.

Seems to me it's like having the option:
"Do you want to steal from your trusting affiliates? Yes__ No__"

Not cool.

The reasoning is as long as the affiliates know about it makes it ok... THis is BS.. if you want to make more money... be upfront and give 40% (isntead of 50%) to your affiliates... Having the "option' of stoping rebills after "x" time... is only asking for trouble giving dishonest program owners ways to scam affiliates...

Now.. we are at least able to see if sponsors stop rebills after X time... something we should have been able to see from the start.

A perfect legit way to use that feature is a sponsor who would pay 100% on initial signup, and 0% on rebills.

I think I saw that on some guy selling a software through CCBill.

It leaves the door way too wide open for cheating for those who run partnership programs though. A ccbill admin should set that up for the sponsor and be done with it. Or if that won't work.... then there must be a better way.

Some of these sponsors and people defending them on other threads need to look up the meaning of the word "partnership".

Isnt CCbill having a Pay-Per-Signup option.. if not.. that might have been a better option...

There's a big difference with 0 rebils and stoping rebills after 1, 2 or 3 times...

Its very hard to scam affiliates if you set rebills at 0... Its just a bit too obvious...

THe problem is with the possibility of setting rebills to stop after 1,2,3.. times... etc.. and that without the affiliates knowing about it... Now affiliates can know.. thats improvement...

When I first heard of this going on, I was flabbergasted.

The word "despicable" comes to mind.
