Man, ccbill couldve done so much more to prevent abuse. Like mail the affiliate when rebilling is edited.

I understand some sponsors got caught cheating.
I don't think it is ccbill's fault, it's the asswipe webmasters that used A TOOL 2 cheat with. I'm sure ccbill didn't put this tool in there system so 10 or 20 webmasters could cheat.

But putting the blame on ccbill is wrong. ccbill did not cheat the asswipe webmasters did. ccbill had TOOL in there software that I'm sure COULD be used for honest reasons. Just happens a few asswipe webmaster cheated with it.

I don't think ccbill went and look at each webmaster what they were doing. They the webmaster could have had it in there terms (one rebill), what is ccbill 2 do, go and check each webmasters site. What if the webmaster sign up and later turn it on. ccbill would have 2 check sites every day

Oh come on, give me a fucking break. Ofcourse they cant check every site but they friggin knew this was going on. Everybody with 2 braincells knows this system would be abused. They had to notify up of the fact that that option is available and at least an email or something when a program activated it. Period. You can keep defending them but theres no way to talk this right.

To meet the visa requirements and stuff like that I think they already were required to check out each and every site.

I think Battus stated his case poorly but to use the gun analogy if a person buys a gun and shoots people. Smith and Wesson should not have an issue but if he lets them know he is going to shoot people and continues to do it over a period of time. They do obtain liablity.

While I don't agree that the option should have never been made available Battus is 100% right in saying that CCBill is a piece of shit for letting it be abused.

If they wanted to offer such an option they should have..

a) Made sure programs that turned it on weren't advertising otherwise.
b) Told current affiliates who were under programs that decided to change from unlimited to something different that the option had been changed.
c) Shitcanned all the POS fuckers that turned it on while advertising "rebills for life".

I'm glad to say I haven't sent 1 cent in sales to a sponsor I can prove cheated me. If I had I would be in court getting my money why all you usual suckers say "It would be too hard to stop it so it's all good". Get fucking real people, this whole damn industry is built on scams but that DOES NOT make it OK.

We could easily be talking about few 100k over the years because of an option ccbill felt neccesary to implant but not to notify affiliates about.
