    juast ran first galleri submission in months..

    and what the fuck is up with everyone and their dog having different thumbnail dimensions and size limits and minimums???

    Had to make different versions for the following.

    100x130
    100x150
    150x100
    120x120
    120x90
    90x120
    70x70
    88x88
    90x90
    100x100

    Either file size too small, too big or my fav. "image is too large! Max 12.3k!!" when thumb was 2.3k.. meh...

    Someone agree on a fucking standard already. Gesus. And stop banning legit ISP email domains.

    Now I remember why I started doing freesite and SE sites.

    You daily gallery submitters have earned my respect for putting up with such hoop jumping and rediculousness you have to swallow.


    Oh, one of my other favs was "You must link back to us and send us traffic too" Then right at bottom of rules "NO RECIPS ALLOWED!! RECIP = PERMABANNED" Needless to say both clean gallery and gallery with recips got rejected by script.

              meh... I'll still do it. I just used RS to even the score. If pedly tgp's wanna make a big stink about my gallery having banned words like "come" or "more" then fuckem.. only took me one click of a "submit" button to do it.

              The only ones that worry me when submitting are the big guys like RR and such. Those I pay special attention to and even load in a real IE window. And guess what? The big guys have reasonable rules. It's these newbie tgp's that spew out rediculous contradicting rules that fucking anoy the living shit out of me for 10 hits total.

                  My favorite was one that rejected a gallery because of the banned word "avi". Porngraph's counter code contained "navigator". Blah...

                  Another rejected a gallery for the word "child". It mentioned Pornstar Nikki Fairchild.

                  I guess they never heard of word boundries.

                      I usually make an 88x88 thumb, and if I'm feeling particularly generous, a 120x90. Everyone else with their funky sizes can GFY.

                      The scripts that screw up always throw me into fits as well - anywhere from laughing my ass off to wanting to slam my head on the desk. One of my first tasks after installing a script is to do a submission myself and check it for errors. I suppose that's just too much common sense though, as I see scripts everywhere that can't correctly judge file size, that can't properly count links, that lead to 500 error pages, etc... it's ridiculous.

                      Oh, and my favorite has to be "cannot get last modified date of gallery". I just uploaded the fucking thing. It hasn't BEEN modified, and it won't BE modified as I don't want to be banned. Idiots.

                          Pay to get them submitted, $5 submissions does it for $3.50 I don't know about you but I think the time saved is well worth the $3.50 a day..
