I'm nowhere near where I want to be. Superficially, I have none of the material wealth I want. Personally, I've got a lot of character flaws I want to work on. Emotionally, my long-term relationship with my gf isn't going so great.

But then little things like walking on the beach near my place makes me feel happy, so it doesn't really matter.

Situations come and go, but over all, I'm a happy person.

For the most part, I think happiness comes from within. Maybe it comes from having a high self esteem, or it could be a genetic trait... or a mix of different things. Regardless, there are plenty of miserable rich people in the world, and plenty of very happy and content poor people.

Anyway, what's not to be happy about?

Life sucks because I have no money, no college degree and no friends. I've been in the industry for close to 4 years, and made lots of money early on, but I can't make money anymore. I miss the money,and I've grown addicted to spending money.

Not having money sucks.
