I can see your point the media doesnt show alot of the soldiers faces who died. If they did more of that, it makes them people not numbers. I think we should go back to the old days, a leader of a country declared war on another country. He rode the army into battle in the front of the line.Comment

Before Bush I'm sure most soldiers never really thought they would ever have to go to war. I know it's really stupid of people to join the military with the assumption that there will not be a war while you are serving, but you know that's what most people think. Most Americans join the military for the money for college and the veteran's benefits, NOT to "serve their country." I debated joining the military to pay for college when I was younger, but I made the choice not to do so because of the risks involved, but most American's just don't think that far ahead.

Everyone has an opinion. She thought she was fighting for a just cause, and she died for it. Whether she was right or wrong doesn't matter now, because she has ceased to exist.
People disagree with the war, and people think it was a good idea invading. Everyone has an opinion, but once someone's dead, they're dead. Simple as that. Whether or not she died for a just cause doesn't matter now, so why even bother bringing it into the thread?
