I love them with blue eyes.. when his eyes turn to brown, he won't chew anything he is not allowed to. Just give him his own toys,and tasty snack to chew, a ball and he won't do that much damage hopefully.

I know they just seem to do it when they are younger. I am getting him something to chew tomorow

Good idea, the sooner, the better... forgot to warn you, some bored puppies may chew the cables so you should look out.
I had an awesome long hair black German shep, he was a terrible little devil then by the age of 6-8 mo. an educated dog and became the best body guard ever. And the best thing is that they walk you every day
