Sure. I'll turn it on right now.

And now that I have it working, will one of you smart people tell me the simplest way I can share my 56k modem connection that is on this computer with my laptop? I had it working before I upgraded the firmware but I really don't know how. (It's the blonde ass hairs showing through again.)

I want to be able to go take a dump while I make you all a "thank you" post on my laptop.

Can anyone else hit this address?

I'm sure it will start working as soon as I go to bed, (or probably a few seconds after I post this.)

I am a bit late on this one, but you sir deserve this picture in your post.

Blah blah blah, like I said, first time I have ever laid hands on a router, never used a cable modem before, so I had no idea about internal IP addresses and such. I am in 56k land for at least another year.

You forgot to say 50. Does AdultBeat give out PDA's or cameras for the worst thread of the day? I think I may be in the running.

Lose the "big-Daddy" trip. What makes him a fool is for one
he has over 3000 posts so his time is spent yakkin' instead
of learning and for two the blame get's put on Linksys right
away...A-typical n00b where there can be no fault from his
performance so it must be Linksys at fault.

Website 192.168.1.1 is down .... fuckin' classic.

Open your eyes, I registered here in January 2001. I'm sure you can figure out how many posts per day that works out to, smart guy.

Actually I do plenty of "learning", but like I said I don't have access to high speed internet here, and never touched any kind of network equipment before, so blow me.

Never had to deal with networks before so I never learned how until I bought the stuff for myself today. I'm using a computer I built myself from scratch, that's something I wanted to learn how to do, so I did. I wonder how many other people here can build their own PC?

camsource 01-05-2004 12:32 AM

fuck that's funny :1orglaugh

Cool, now you can update the firmware...oh, I guess you'll
need to wait till you read a post on that.
