The difference between him and you though is that he apparently learned from his mistakes. You, however, seem to be doomed to repeat them. Then again you already know what I have to say on that :P

The only reason I drew that conclusion is because that's pretty much how it looked to me and a lot of other people. Shemp is one of the most upstanding, respectable people in this business, and it pisses me off when people call true respect "sucking cock". If you weren't referring to him specifically, fine, but maybe make that a little more clear :) People can have any opinions they want on things, but unless they know the circumstances, it's not really anyone's judgement call to make. It's rare to see someone in this business, or in the WORLD for that matter that touches so many people's lives and minds in a positive way. Shemp is and always will be a legend for that alone, if nothing else.

Yes sir I did. I definitely don't always agree with you though, but you have to admit, I've been one of the FEW people who was CONTINUALLY willing to make an attempt to help you out even when you pissed me off the most. I don't think I've ever felt so much like I was smashing my head against a brick wall though. I just hope that when your chickens come home to roost, you don't end up with TOO much egg on your face. :)

Dare I say something as crazy as that I don't really care how people view me or what I say for the large part. I know that may be hard to believe when so many of you are concerned with what people think of you and your "reps" but I don't know that I give a fuck. The people I work with don't mention me publicily and I don't mention them, I keep my biz to myself and post on here to discuss the industry, ocassionally ask a question and spend the rest of the time pointing out the bullshit that so many are full of. I don't know shemp so I have no comments on him personally and never said anything about him personally, just merely pointing things out in a general way. But I can appreciate where you are coming from because I like you.

Well I certainly don't feel the need to talk Shemp up. My words come from sheer respect and caring for the man.
I've seen him do SO many positive things, both in matters pertaining to business and helping people out on a personal level. I've never known a man so generous and willing to put himself out to help someone else. In general like I said, you may not know him or agree with what he's done on his site, but when it all boils down to it, I don't think ANYONE would have a single bad thing to say about him aside from disagreeing with that one thing. If anything, it's exactly the opposite. That kind of "rep" doesn't just show up because someone buys booze and women. That is the HARDEST kind of rep to earn, and it speaks volumes without saying a word.

How can you say this ???? If a site is scaming people out of money that effects all of us. When the cc companies lower the cb ratios more or kill recurring because of these fucked up business practices in our industry. How the fuck can you say what other people do is not my business ???

I agree with your assessment of Shemp and have seen tons of positive things he has done. However, past actions don't excuse someone when they fuck up. Step back for a sec and look at this objectively. Greed is powerful and can easily make anyone of us compromise the reputation we've worked hard to build up. Shemp chose to promote a clear cut scam in exchange for some easy $. It's his site and he can do whatever he wants with it, but call it what it is and don't just excuse it because of his past actions.
