I took time out to cook a huge Thanksgiving dinner. Took me about 8 hours, plus cleanup time. Christmas dinner took a little less time, but still took several hours. And New Year's dinner took 3 hours. That's enough cooking for me for a while when I have to work full time! LOL |

McDonalds has the best french fries on the planet. Nothing comes close. I go there often and my son likes it too. |

"Would you like fries with that?"
We look down at people who work fast food because we damn well know they can't get a job any place else. I'm sure even the guy who puts my newspaper in my driveway makes more than fast food employees. |

My opinion? Vast majority of them are students. Their schedules are hectic, school, working, homework and somewhere in there they try to have a social life. Most of them live off a couple/few hours sleep. Yep, they screw up, but then again, so does everyone else I know, no matter what the job, how much education they have, or how much they get paid. Anyone willing to do the grunge work with little pay and crappy hours deserves my respect. My personal experience with McD's has been good, one screw up in the past 30 visits or so. |
I respect anyone that serves me food.. :glugglug

Just to let you know, if you wanna open your own McDonalds you have to first work behind the counter. So the VERY OCCASIONAL worker maybe one day the owner....

In California, too many of these guys are Mexicans who can't speak english properly. Oh well... better to deal with this shit than have to pay $1 per burger I guess

Never understood why parents think fast food is a substitute for a nutritional meal since they are working. Damn I love the fries at MacD but if a worker f-up on our order or ran out of food, I doubt if I would complain about the efficiency of a worker or management. The kids I raised knew the difference of a fast food meal and a home cooked meal. :) |
