A few weeks back, a couple of webmaster groups up here in the Northwest throw a winter bash. GrimShawn of CowboyBucks flies up from LA just to kick it with us up here. The night before the party we had a little get together with just sponsors. Everyone is getting hammered and having a good time, but then everyone bails early. Shawn and I decide the night?s not over and we go to the next bar down and have one of his famous Jager shots. This will be the first of 5 or 6 that we have that night. Keep in mind that we had just finished drinking for several hours.

After that bar we hit a club in Belltown and get rightly blitzed. Somewhere around 3 o?clock I start to get signs that I?m not gonna make it. Grim?s love of Jager is just too much for my empty stomach and it tells me it?s time to go. I look around, he?s not there. In my drunken stuper, I?ve lost the ?out of town webmaster.? So, I pull a bitch move and bail. No one likes getting sick in a club.

The next morning I realize ?oh no, I left Shawn at Medusa.? I get a hold of the webmaster that he?s staying with here in Seattle, get his cell number and ring him. The guy couldn?t have been more easy-going and polite. ?It?s not a problem man, I stayed and had a blast.? Here I was feeling like a total ass and the guy acts like it?s water off a duck?s back. Only this week did I find out that he actually couldn?t find his way home, drove all around West Seattle in a taxi, and when he actually found the place he was staying he literally had to break into the place to go to bed.

All I have to say is that?s a trooper. GrimShawn is cooler than most of us could ever be.

Yeah after I left the club I was wasted and looked around for anyone. I could not find anyone, I had my cell phone and called Seth Sixnine a couple times and then my batter went dead.

So here I was stuck downtown Seattle in the rain and it was my first time there. I hopped in a Taxi and told the guy where I was staying. He started driving and went the total wrong direction.

We drove around forever and we ended up in Everett. I needed to be in West Seattle. I went off on the driver and told him I was not going to pay him to drive me all over Seattle. I finally had him drive to Seth's place which I was at the night before, I then had him follow the path back to where I was staying.

After 2 hours in a cab I finally found my way back, I walk to the door and it's locked. I start pounding on the door and get nothing. It's pouring rain out, it's 6 30 AM and my booze is wearing off.

I climb up this fence and stand on the top of it and break the screen out of the window and jimmy the window open, i'm now with one foot on the fence about 10 feet up with my head hanging in a window shouting WAKE THE FUCK UP!

After a few moments they awoke and let me in. I had a beer and went to sleep. Woke up the next day with someone calling to say sorry. I was not sure why I had a blast and got a 2 hour cab ride for 40 bucks. Whooo hooo
