Its not the data center, the data center is a fully redundant facility in CA, their networks are not.

All of their networks are hooked up into Atrivo

They all resell atrivo, so logically its their uplink provider Atrivo who has a problem. Since all these networks buy from Atrivo at the same point especially because they are all in the same data center, they set themselves up for a big loss if that *ONE* provider suffers a hit.

The funny part is how VibeHosting and a few others advertise BGP multi-homed providers, that's all garbage, they all have just 1 link to the Internet and currently that link is down.

The truth about many hosting companies is enough to scare the educated people.

85% of adult hosts do NOT, they're mostly shitty resellers of shitty bandwidth. Jupiter, NatNet, ISPrime and a couple others have real networks with real BGP4 connectivity. Anyone who's serious about their business would NOT put their shit on a network that had one link, but most people don't even know this is a factor in success.

Bro, you have no idea how much fucking downtime I've been delaing with. We've got our shit at 7 "adult" hosts and damn man, the only ones who aren't constantly having problems are the ones with real networks. Anyone who puts their paycheck on the line with these joke hosts is a fool!

One of the tier2 providers of Atrivo went down and bgp session was lost. But incorrectly they were routing our IP's and it was going to nowhere... Good lord! Everyone who is hosting with VibeHosting, contact me please.

This must suck BIG TIME for those that trade traffic.

Quick question: do your traffic trades "forgive" you for being down or are your credits basically used up?

Anyone who'd host with these jokers deserves downtime.

Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60.
Let me repeat... A 120 x 60 button and no more that 3 lines of DEFAULT SIZE AND COLOR text.

I resell bandwidth for a guy, who knows a guy, that sells for a guy, that met the guy who actually runs the network and HE has BGP4, so all I have to do is call the guy, who knows a guy, that sells for a guy that met the guy who actually runs the network to see if we can get the problem fixed.

Not entirely, their main provider is Global Crossing and they have backup via NAC.net

Its hard to tell if Global Crossing goes down whether or not Webair will be able to push all their capacity thru NAC however they do have some level of redundancy so they're definitely a step above the guys mentioned in this thread!
