As a male I love my forman and use it alot, fast, tasty and easy to clean.
Heres my mustard chicken recipe: (youll have to experiment with the amounts as not everyone likes it really spicey and salty like i do) 2 Boneless chicken brests mustard worchester sauce tad of onion salt tad or garlic powder little bit of soy sauce creaole seasoning that one shit... Ms Dash - a decent amount of it de thaw chicken, wash em off, poke holes on both sides and either marinate in a covered dish or in a ziplock back for 2 hours minimum or overnight for a dank delight :thumbsup |
Hell I LOVE my forman Grill.... the only bitches I have about it is cleaning it (can be a pain in the ass) & it dont do hot dogs worth a damn(they roll)
As for tasting dry? its no different than an outdoor grill to me... all those tasty sizzles and pops and flame ups on an outside grill is the fat hitting the fire.... on the foreman its just hitting the tray instead! :thumbsup |
I recommend using a meat rub like "Pappy's" If you are in a rush and don't have time to marinade Pappy's meat rub is the bomb. They make rubs for beef, pork, chicken, fish and lamb.
Also like it was said before make sure to clean it warm! |
I agree with Peaches. No way in hell will I ever pan fry a burger if I have a George Foreman Grill nearby.
|
I'ma thinkin nobody should be hatin' on the grill. It seems like it's a handy little thing to have around.
don't be hatin' on the GRILL! |

great for veggies and bacon. i still use a real grill for my burgers, steaks, chicken, pork and fish!
|
its snowing in vancouver and I am still going to use my bbq for some chicken thighs for lunch :)
How hot does the george foreman grill get? I heard from my friend that it doesnt get hot enuf to leave seared grill marks properly - even tho you see them on the commercials. Cooking a burger in a fry pan? thats insane. broil a burger or grill a burger. no other options. |

Oh and the variation of grilled cheese that hubby fell in love with when i did it....heat the grill and grill some sliced mushrooms and sliced onions...load up a slice of bread with cheese of choice, put onions and mushrooms on cheese and close sandwich. Then just grill until melted...yummy. |
I've cooked EVERYTHING you can imagine on that dang grill.......
How about I put a book under the front to make it level and did pancakes!!!! They were the best, because I didn't have to flip them-heat on both sides- so they stayed thick and fluffy :-) Yes, I guess I do manage to get away from my computer once in a while :thumbsup Ivy |

Anyone ever tried making omelets on the grill or eggs? I wonder if that works?? |
don't cook anything on it for too long! the grill works great, just remember that it cooks alot faster than most methods and leaving anything on it for too long will dry it right out.
I love mine because i can have dinner done in a flash! |

Don't ask me why but I did :1orglaugh |
Cooked my first burgers on it earlier, didn't have to flip em, both sides got hot enough to sear the grill lines on the meat. I cooked each burger separately.... 1st one had tabasco sauce in it and sprinkled with steak spice and garlic. The 2nd one had cajun spice mixed into it and then sprinkled with MORE cajun spice. I had some fresh Chiabatta buns on hand.
Damn them were good burgers. |
