Sig. selling - the future
So what's your guess? Will other boards jump on the bandwagon? Will it get better here in the coming months?

I think Lens is following a good strategy.
There are dozens of sponsors, who are looking to buy sigs from peoples with high postcounts and particularly business related posts. So everyone who havent sold his sig is trying now to make himself more interesting and post more and better posts. Result is, that the quality of GFY is raising. Just my ![]() |

This is quickly becoming a big business. I can see this doing well in the coming months/years.

Once all the Buyers realize it was a waste of money it will die out. Also once the board owners realize that their old revenue from their regular old advertisers is going down, then they will also think twice about it......This is just my 2 cents on the subject. But for those people that did make a few extra bucks for the month it was great, for some I bet it's more than they make in a month anyway.....

I think it's quiet a decent idea and does actually make money for the advertiser, not to mention the exposure.

Sigs are going for almost as much as it cost to advertise on this board. im sure you get a much higher ROI and CTR from it too

i think the next step will hold the # of posters a company can pay to wear their sig, but then again only the $ survives.
soon it will become an even more of a banner farm, hopefully not to saturated when the next months auction rolls around. |

Be interesting to see what happens with it. Overall i think it's a good thing as long as it doesn't go into overkill.
