This is Platinum Lantern You know the guy who bet Boneprone and won from him $500, but didn't get paid by Boneprone. Yeah that Platinum Lantern... Once again I'm looking for Football Bets. From Reputable people, (I tried this the last time and was dealing with a pretty well known person, but hey I still didn't get paid) Basically wanting to bet with people who will pay me if they lose, because I certainly will pay if I lose (On time even) Here Are The Odds For This Weekends NFL Action Sunday Indianapolis Colts vs. Kansas City Chiefs The Kansas City Chiefs have homefield advantage and are favored to win. Proposed Wager: I bet on the Colts to win this game I risk $250 You risk $250 on the Chiefs to win this game If the Colts lose I pay you $250 By Tuesday Morning payable via Union ONLY If the Chiefs lose you pay ME $350 By Tuesday Morning payable via Western Union ONLY Any Takers? Please no Fakers (thats what happened the last time) Any other games you want to wager on and are willing to be a man about and pay up in the event that you reply to this thread with the NFL playoff game your interested in, and your proposed wager details. I honestly don't know JSA Matt,
we made the bet he fully agreed to it, but NEVER contacted me about payment Some people fly to his defense by saying "Hey he was out of town at Internext, he was busy blah blah blah" But they overlook the fact that me and Boneprone both agreed to be paid by Tuesday Morning (2 days after the game) In fact he wanted to be paid the VERY next day (Monday) He would have wanted his money (EVEN WHEN HE WAS IN VEGAS) GO FIGURE?.. but yet when he loses a bet he doesn't feel the need to pay up.. But, another webmaster by the GFY board name of slappie paid the $500 on Boneprone's behalf and now I guess Boneprone will pay back slappie, but who knows at this point. I'd bet him to take yet another $500, but who can win when your betting somebody who doesn't plan on honoring the bet

Not trying to jack your thread, but how many people would be interested in playing online "football squares"
I threw together a script that allows people to choose squares online and directly buy them through paypal. Myabe we can get enough people to play throughout the playoffs and into the super bowl.. 5 bucks a square?? |

2 days after a game isn't alot. Granted, it was an agreement, but any number of activities could have happened. I think you should have waited a week of trying to handle the matter in private before you dragged Boneprone's name through the mud. If Boneprone is as reputable as people say he is, then surely something happened where he was unable to get you the money. Or perhaps he just forgot? Did he actually say he was not going to pay you, or were you simply unable to reach him about it?

ya know if I was Boneprone i'd be thinking seriously of not paying you because of your slandering him over his failure to pay you on your time schedule.
i guarantee you that Boneprone was prepared to honor the bet. He probably still is. this board isn't some professional bookmaker shop - it falls into the 'friendly wager' between two friends/acquaintances category and those kind of bets sometimes take time to collect.
