Anyone watching "All in the Family" Marathon?
That show was way before it's time. Some funny shit.
I never saw the episode were Edith dies. Anyone know from what she died of? |

i got all the vhs ... entire collection, what a great fucking show ...
i was watching one last night where edith had to go to the "Groinacologist" ha ha, its playing right now with the volume off (so i can think)  |

I was sick yesterday so I watched a LOT of tv, it was strange flipping on All in the family, I wonder if they could have done that show today with all the little "Hints" they made about people.
Edith died ?? Shit I missed that Season # 9 Episode #207 - Too Good Edith Archie keeps a sick Edith so busy cooking for his big St. Patrick's Day party, that she doesn't get the chance to tell him that "hard work is hazardous to her health." When Archie finds out the truth about Edith's illness, he takes steps to make sure she will never "forget" to tell him again.

Edith dies and then they kind of did a spin off where Archie owned a bar or something after she died.
I LOVE that show but haven't seen it since moving to the UK. Mostly because it was a version of a British show called 'Till Death Do Us Part' so they show their version. When I was a kid back home I watched it all the time. To me one of the most intense episodes is the one where Edith is almost raped...she was outstanding on that episode. |

It's a fantastic show, I'm enjoying it.
I also like a lot of the other stuff on TV Land like Bewitched. Personally I watch stuff on TV Land, History Channel, Cartoon Network (Mainly Adult Swim), and Comedy Central.

That show is classic, funny most of the stuff said on there wouldnt be put into sitcoms these days.

I've been watching some of them. I don't think Edith died during "All In The Family". I'm pretty sure they just said she died of a stroke when "Archie's Place" started.

I don't understand TV Land though. They show every episode over a weekend and then put the show into rotation for a year and show it 4 times a day.

Yeah I watched it! All in the Family is one of my fav classic TV shows. I watch a lot of Nick @ Nite /TVLand. I love classic TV
