I was sick yesterday so I watched a LOT of tv, it was strange flipping on All in the family, I wonder if they could have done that show today with all the little "Hints" they made about people.
Edith died ?? Shit I missed that
Season # 9
Episode #207 - Too Good Edith
Archie keeps a sick Edith so busy cooking for his big St. Patrick's Day party, that she doesn't get the chance to tell him that "hard work is hazardous to her health." When Archie finds out the truth about Edith's illness, he takes steps to make sure she will never "forget" to tell him again.
Edith dies and then they kind of did a spin off where Archie owned a bar or something after she died.
I LOVE that show but haven't seen it since moving to the UK. Mostly because it was a version of a British show called 'Till Death Do Us Part' so they show their version.
When I was a kid back home I watched it all the time. To me one of the most intense episodes is the one where Edith is almost raped...she was outstanding on that episode.

I never saw the episode were Edith dies. Anyone know from what she died of?
Archie bunker rulez! Funny how people really think like him they just don't say it. The humor of that show is even more funnier now that the PC movment has taken over universities and other key segments of society.
I've been watching some of them. I don't think Edith died during "All In The Family". I'm pretty sure they just said she died of a stroke when "Archie's Place" started.
