Clicking Sig's

I am quite amazed that Lensman is buying poster's signature space for advertising!

He owns the board right? He's paying as much as $1000 dollars to place a 480x60 banner in your sig - its ridiculous, why doesn't he just insert them at random if he's that bothered!

Anyway, the poll; Do you actually click signatures? I know I dont - I never click any form of porn banner advertising - its usually lame anyway.

its not about clicking on the banners, its about getting a name out there and branding it in ur mind.

the more time you see something the better chance their is of u going back to that thing when u need a new program.

Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60.
Let me repeat... A 120 x 60 button and no more that 3 lines of DEFAULT SIZE AND COLOR text.

I have sigs turned off on all the msg boards. I could not care less what anyone promotes. If I need a new sponser I know where to look, I dont need a sig telling me whats good.

I've definitely clicked on them in the past if I saw something interesting. No question that with the amount of eyeballs here the sigs are worth something.

Normally that would be true. This is gfy, and it is well known that nearly all sigs are bought ad space, so they are basically useless, wasted space. It is no longer branding, it's more like Over Exposure. The funny thing is that most webmasters already know about all the programs that are being whored out in the sigs, so if they want to try that sponsor or program out they will anyway. Sigs used to have some good value to them, but now they are just a mess to look at and the people paying the big dollars for them are wasting their money.

I will usually click if I haven't seen the sponsor before. But otherwise it is all just branding.

I have clicked before, and I will click again. It takes an ingenious ad though, or at least one promising to show me how to make REAL money from my traffic
