What if TGP/MPG owners would get say 20-25% revenue share of submitted galleries. They'll be able to run their sites like they are used to, make a percentage of all revenue generated trough their site and be able to select quality galleries for thier bookmarkers.

Since the galleries will be submitted they'll be able to select the galleries they want and pay site owners can submit 2-3 galleries a day (or hire someone to do it for them). If all pay site owners receive partner accounts this could be very profitable for both the pay site owners and the TGP/MPG owners.

The TGP owners can select either quality or aggressive galleries based on their business model and/orr traffic. Since there are a lot of pay sites at this moment a semi automated system should be able to bring in 100-1000 galleries a day to select from.

What do you guys/galls think about this model?

I think it sucks for current galleries submitters.

I think is good for tgp owners (money wise)

its good for paysite owners, they get galleries everywhere and give a smaller share then when they use affialiates.

so basicly I think this idea is shit

I don't get it, how can the idea be bad if its good for both TGP/MPG owners and paysite owners?

We all know that all submitters would like to be tgp owners or paysite owners.. The serious submitters can iether start a tgp or a paysite. All cheater submitters will end up at mcburgerfood or something...

Ok maybe you guys dont get exited about my idea... But just in case, any tgp owners interested let me know and i'll set you up. you should be able to send at least 2,5k per accepted gallery on average.

What exactly are you proposing - that you will submit your hosted galleries to us at 20/25% revshare instead of the standard 50%+ revshare for hosted galleries? I must be missing something, please explain further or provide some examples.

1. TGP owner can earn cash at:

- paid galleryspots.
- own galleries.

Not good to have galleries from same sponsors with same templets/designs...

Gallerysubmitters make a great job for a TGP owner. If the owner not get any galleries to his site he must make own galleries or use freehosted = visitors sleap when they came to the site = bad prod.

I like my submitters!

The difference between 'the current' hosted galleries and submitted galleries is that the hosted galleries are mostly crap and that TGP owners have to hunt them in order to be able to list them on the site. Submitted galleries are fresh and can be filtered/selected by the TGP/MPG owned based on his/her knowledge of the traffic.

If the paysite owners submit the galleries and the TGP/TGM owners can select the galleries and make sure that they have fresh and targeted galleries. In exchange for the work (and license buying) the paysite owners have to do to create these galleries the TGP/TGM owners accept a lower payout.

nah, I'd rather make my own galleries and host them

the more I use sponsor hosted galleries, the more I see re-directs and other crap pop up

We've thought about this idea for months for our clients. But, it takes a lot of time and energy to make good galleries, and we have neither (our clients even less)...so you'd have to outsource the design to $5 (or whomever), which puts you right back to where you are now. Individual web master submitters are the lifeblood of a sponsor prog...they deserve their share of the "middle piece":-)

We advise our clients to focus on the sites/conversions...and let the gallery deisgners do what they do best!

As a whole, Individual gallery makers bring dynamism to the whole process with new layouts, new content, new text. Cuts down on the cheaters' popups and crappy galleries, though.

My middle ground proposal is webmasterlabor.com's submission service acts as a gallery reviewer for 30 to 100 TGPs. Gallerymakers pay the submission fee. A large % goes to TGPs to select from the pool of reviewed TGPs. If you wish to add rev share into that equation, that may help as well.
