Best Digital Camera

As we only shoot original amateur models, our images are very much in demand from surfers and magazines.

So much so we now need to upgrade our Digital Stills Camera equipment.

What do you suggest is the best digital still, camera for shooting web content. ?

Nikon D100 is the way to go, but few magazines that pay real money will take digital images. They want slides.

The new Canon D300 at $999 is selling like hotcakes also.

First Digital SLR to break the $1K barrier.

Info and pic samples here. Really nice output for that price point.

That is true. I sell photos (non porn) to publishers and they never take digital images, only slides.

at DPReview before getting a Canon Powershot A80 and
its worth browsing and review some notes of owners
themselves. im very much satisfied to have my first camera
from Canon with superb image quality and functionalities.
i hope you guys also make the right choice before spending

We bought tha Sony fd95 years ago, and it is pretty nice, but when ever we talk to anyone about digital they tell us either the cannon or the Nikon...

We are not really in the market right now, but the last guy that we talked to made one point..

Right now the monitors for computers are not keeping up that well. While designers and people in the industry have the best, the average person does not. So a really high mega pixl camera is not thaaaaat important.. He ment like over 5mega.

Just my

and since I am not a photographer for a living, what do I know??

OK decision time .

Thanks everybody for you input.

As my primary use of the Camera will be shooting net content I have narrowed the field down to two cameras that after reading all the reviews I simply can - not split.

Canons EOS digital rebel 300D

Nikons Coolpix 5700

Both Same Price as well.

HELP - Which way do I go ?
