It is impossible to compare the two countries -

Every country has its achievements and should be proud of those - Every country has made mistakes no doubt they regret.

For those who like to bash the Brits - Our army has (nearly) always faught along side you as brothers. And in many cases more Brits were lost by American "friendly" fire than the result of the war.

As for Brits who love to bash the Americans - Come on guys - Most Americans are just like most British - Smoke pot, drink beer and fuck women - Anything else isn't worth worrying about!

USA does offer a lot.

Its not the greatest country in the world. There are better ones. But it is a good country that offers a lot.

I made this thread as a joke, as I feel many times people in the USA do go overboard with being patriotic. Its something that other countries do not do. We in Britain are happy to complain, and will have no problems saying something is wrong (just see our papers).

Yet, in the USA, you never seem to be able to say anything is wrong.

Its almost seem as being a traitor for any American to say that they disagree with America. Almost as if you do not have the freedom of speech.

As I say, come to the UK, and all you will hear is people complain. For us to say anything is ok, is not done.

As I say, it was meant as fun.
