800 bucks for 900 exclusive photos? thats your first sign of trouble.

any provider knows not to shoot other content with your exact props ... sure you cant have exclusivity of a model, but christ its common sense not to hire a model for an exclusive shoot - snap a set of her for the excl. client then another in the same setting for general sales... thats fucked. stupidity doesnt even excuse that.

I'd like to see how they justify using Fatbrain's props in a shoot for his own competition.

That right there alone, on top of everything else is messed up in my opinion. I mean, you just HAVE to know that Fatbrain wouldn't like that very much.

Which, I guess, would be the reason why they never asked for permission to use it first.

No exclusive sets should look alike - we're shooting a model day after Christmas that we've shot before a couple of times and we have no more backgrounds - Brian keeps a record on each girl he shoots, what she was wearing in the set and the background setting - so we'll be shooting her at a hotel suite, the $150 doesn't get passed on to the customer.

The conclusion...

We just spoke about the entire situation...He did receive orders for other content in my niche and honestly did not think there would be an issue using the props...I have made it clear that is a VERY big no-no.

He stated that he thought about it more and agrees it was a stupid thing to do.

For those of you who know who the provider is, we have reached a resolution on the issue that I am pleased with.

He will be refunding the full fee for the custom/exclusive shoots I ordered...Returning all loaned props and is allowing me to keep the 500 photos he did shoot.

I am investigating a content provider now (well known but not photogregg) that I sent stuff too and used it for someone I compete with.

If its true they will regret it.

I dont need apologies and bullshit im not god, they well know they fuck up when they do shit like that.

On a side note I have been using photogregg for a while never had a single problem, I have been to the studio as well.

you're always saying that and maybe you're starting to convince yourself, but this one is great "many producers which are offering you exclusive stuff for a very low price are cheating and you can see on the prices that it never could be for exclusive productions". Guess what: we shoot exclusive a VERY LOW price and I dare you to find one (not 2 not 10, not 20, just a single one) person who is disatisfied with what we delivered or who didn't get the exclusivity we promised for the price that (let me use your own words again) "never could be for exclusive productions ". Funny part is that I know at least another person who's doing low budget exclusive and never ever had a complaint. Maybe you'd wake up of your nap or it will be too late once you decide to do it :Graucho
