I want to use your picture to promote a website.

I need to know the legality of it.

Say I want to create a thumbnail gallery for a certain fetish and I want to make a graphic for the heading of the page. How do I go about obtaining and using the picture legally?

BTW, I will also need hosted galleries in the area of panties, lesbians, and pantyhose... Any sponsors that are big in those catagories, spam me!

I am looking for quality too... so lightspeedcash is like #1, and then I will settle for the low quality of smother.com's pics if the mood/setting of the pics works well.

FROM? I looked in previous threads...

One was in some other language (the content website).
One had NOTHING that looked even decent.
One was just like the other...
And NONE had anything similar to LightSpeeds quality, quantity, or clarity.

man there may be different rules applying to using a pic as content vs. using it as a part of a logo. im almost certain there are contractual ones.

i know thats weird but i cant explain it right now cuz im high.

Ahh, and now you see my point. Most content is sold with the rights still owned by the publisher. I need to be able to buy the right to alter the graphic image (which is prohibited in most content deals). Unfortuanetly GettyImages doesn't stock adult content... If I was making a panty magazine ad, it might be possible to use them, but I am not selling panties to women, I am selling smut to men.

find who you want to use and enter into an agreement with them on it.
get it on paper.

Depends on who you buy from... I have content that I have purchased for design.. but I also have the domain where that content is being used as design as the licensed domain.

Can't you just ask the person directly? Or contact a photographer. They'll probably be able to hook you up.

Almost any content provider will allow you to use purchased content for design. It's a pretty standard part of any license. Usually so many pictures out of a set can be used in the creation of banners or logos that are used on or to promote the domain that they are licensed to. Or you spend a few hundred dollars and have some one like wantongirls shoot you an exclusive set that you can use however you want since you will own all rights to it.

Can somebody make me a smiley that is blowing it's own head off with a gun?

It would be perfect for threads like this.

You have to get a release or else they can sue you for commercial misappropriation of a likeness. Now, if its a news site then its okay or some other public purpose. But for private commercial gain...get a release. This is DIFFERENT from invasion of privacy, if I was out in the open showing off, then you can take pics and I can't do shit.
