Approximately 22 Minutes ago at 11:15 AM PST (19:15:56 UTC) a 6.5 Magnitude earthquake struck Central California. The earthquake epicenter was approximately 195 km (121 miles) SSE (158°) from the Jupiter Hosting Data Center. Here is what we know: - Minimal movement in our facility was felt by staff. - All customer systems are up and functioning normally. - The Jupiter Neework Backbone and all upstream providers are showing GREEN. No loss in carrier service is being experienced. - Facility staff are conducting a visual inspection of all critical facility components. We are electronically monitoring for any facility issues as well. Full facility inspection should be complete within the next hour. Best Regards, Support |

Support can hardly be measured in an email that addresses a problem that did not occur in the first place.

I would like to think it is both. The fact is, customers were concerned as many do not know exactly where we are located. Sending out an e-mail helps elevate any feelings of fear. ~Ray
