how do I format my drive with XP

how what do I do I want to re install windows... what are my steps.....

just boot from CD and re-partition the drive

just stick the cd
and boot from it

then you can delete the primary partition reset it up and then format

or you can boot into a dos prompt with a boot disk

and format c:

then stick a windows cd in, and reboot.. fresh install

Do this Boot up pc => bios Change first boot CD-ROM

Press Button to Boot from CD (press button)

Asks partition already avaible. Press ESC

Then Press Delete the partiton.

Then Press L

Then Press C for create a partiton

Format C: NTFS (Quick)

Then it will reinstall Windows XP

your the bomb.... thats excatly what I had to do to a T although I did not do the quick format I did the otherone.....

Just pop in your windows disc if you are in windows, select Install XP from the autorun window. Or, if you were smart enuf to turn the autorun shit off, just go to Windows Explorer and to your CD-drive then run setup.
