I didnt wanna post here incase my GF came accross this, but now its fine. ive been shopping for a ring for some time. Couldnt find one i liked, so i had one made custom, it came very nice!
Ok so i first met her over 8yrs ago in front of a store near my house, sort of a blind date kind of thing.
Today i told her we had to go to store and get a gift for someone, and off we went. We paced back and forth in front while i was being chicken shit, and she couldnt figure out why the fuck i was being like this!!
Finally i held her hand and looked into her eyes, this was my line;
"8yrs ago this is where i first laid my eyes on you ... [pause] ... So this is where i want to commit the rest of my life to you."
I got down on my knee and took out the rock ... she at first looked at me like "wtf are you doing on your knees?" lol!! It still hadnt hit her ....
All of a sudden you can tell when she realized what was happening! She got histerical crying and asked me "is this for real???"
I slipped the ring on her finger ... and she screamed "YEAS!! YES!! YES!!!"
Mind you, there was hundreds of x-mas shoppers passing by, but at that moment neither of us even recall any of them. We completely zoned out for a few minutes.
She and I were histerically happy all day long as she poured the news on everyone.
The day is over now and i can honestly say i dont regret it one bit! Im so happy that it made her that happy. The look in her eyes when she tells people .. the glisten on her face while she gazes into the stone ... simply priceless!
After 8yrs, it was LONG overdue!
And a new life begins ........
