broadband phone service - GoFuckYourself.com

Ok I am looking into those services where you can signup for a phone line that works over a broadband internet connection. I cant get two phone lines here without having the phone company come install a bunch of expensive shit. Will this work for a fax machine line? Whats the best company to get this through?

Any information is helpful.

VOIP won't become widespread until next year (maybe) - I read somewhere several cable companies are joining in Time Warner, Comcast, etc....Also be on the lookout for Skype ...the creators behind Kazaa
